In the fall of 2008 I embarked on a reportage of Harlem, NYC. Every Saturday morning and afternoon I picked a particular restaurant to draw. I went to a few soul food restaurants like Sylvia's, and Amy Ruth's to name a few. I also found a few good coffee shops along the way and a few bakeries when I needed to refuel as well. It's amazing how much you can learn about a place from simply drawing it!-Danielle
