Friday's Featured Item: Hugging a Pumpkin

It's Friday! Unfortunately the weather is not so great here in New York but we can still have a great day! Thanks for stopping by to see today's item of the day! Today's featured item in the Etsy shop is a card illustrating a little girl dressed as a pumpkin while she hugs a giant pumpkin. I think she loves Halloween :)
This card is available as a single card and in a set of five and ten. Makes a great card for anyone who loves Halloween. Have a great weekend and be sure to check back next week for more new items!

Featured Items of the Day: Trick or Treat Halloween Greeting Cards

It's Thursday everyone! Which means we are one day closer to Friday :) To help you start your afternoon off well here are my two featured items of the day from the new A Love Of Drawing Etsy shop!
Both cards are depicting children celebrating Halloween by trick or treating! I use to love to trick or treat. I remember dressing up as a witch, a pirate and one year I went as Janet Jackson. It was a big thing back then!
Anyway I hope you check out these items and have a great day! Cards come as single cards, sets of five and ten! -Danielle

This Pumpkin Please

Today's featured card is,"Can we get this pumpkin please?" I remember my mom use to take me to the pumpkin farm every year and it was a pretty major deal for me that I picked the best pumpkin. It wasn't necessarily the largest one but the one I just couldn't leave without. I always tried to give the smaller ones a chance. :) When I think of illustrations for some of my cards  I think back to my childhood very often. Halloween was always one of my favorite times of year. I still get excited about pumpkin picking, apple cider and horror movies.
This card illustrates two sisters trying to decide on which pumpkin to get. The younger sister with her costume on already is trying to convince her older sister to get the little pumpkin. Her older sister wants the giant one that would be impossible to carry all the way home! Who wins? Who knows! Which one would you want?
This card is available on the official A Love Of Drawing Etsy shop!

Featured Item of the Day: The Candy Corn

Everyday this week I will feature a new item from my Etsy shop. Today I introduce you to the candy corn cards!
I love Halloween because it gives me an excuse to eat candy especially my favorite, candy corns (I often eat so many in one sitting that I end up with a stomach ache)! You can't get them any other time besides Halloween and they only cost a dollar.  Somehow I can't live without that over sugared fake taste every year!
While I was thumbnailing card ideas I thought of how great it would be to make a series of cards featuring candy corns.
These cards made a great gift and come as single cards, sets of three, six and twelve. -Danielle

Fall

Fall is almost here and I can smell it! It is one of my favorite seasons right next to summer which is why  I chose to launch a whole new line of African-American greeting cards and much more for the upcoming holidays! I can't wait to share with all in the next couple of weeks what I have been working on and what you will be able to purchase very very soon. (Exciting stuff I'm telling you!) The whole process is pretty exciting from picking out colors, to what kind of papers to print on and what kind of envelopes to mail your orders in. The next few days will be pretty busy with printing and getting things ready. In the meantime, because I know your curious, here is a little thumbnail of one of my Halloween Cards. Enjoy!
